Every year, on 7 February, Cereal Docks celebrates Safety Day, a day dedicated to reaffirming the importance of workplace safety, prevention, and the well-being of the people who work across the Group. It is an opportunity to take stock of the path taken so far and to strengthen a corporate culture that places the protection of people at the heart of its priorities.

Ensuring safe working environments means promoting attention, awareness, and responsible behaviour at all levels of the organisation. It is an ongoing commitment, translated into training, prevention, and continuous process monitoring, and one that draws its greatest strength from the active and widespread participation of all Group employees.

A path built over time

The most recent data confirm a positive trend in safety indicators and a growing maturity of the management systems in place. These results reflect a structured approach and the central role of the HSE Department, which coordinates prevention, training, monitoring, and continuous improvement activities in close cooperation with the P&T Department and the corporate functions across the Group’s sites.

Small actions, big impact

The results achieved confirm the soundness of the direction taken, while still leaving room for further improvement, particularly in behaviours and day-to-day attention. Safety also depends on simple, concrete actions: orderly workplaces, correct use of tools, attention to detail, and awareness of risks.

Management systems as a strategic lever

Within this framework, the consolidation of health, safety, and environmental management systems represents a strategic lever for the Group. ISO 45001 certification for occupational health and safety, applied to all Camisano Vicentino sites of the parent company and to Nateeo Srl, ensures a consistent and structured approach to protecting people and will be further strengthened in 2026 through planned audits and assessments.

Safety as a measurable value

From 2026 onwards, safety indicators will take on an even more tangible role: the Safety Index will become part of the metrics used to calculate the Performance Bonus. This choice reinforces the link between safety, individual responsibility, and collective results, making prevention a shared and measurable objective.

A year-round commitment

In 2026, the “Safety Day all year round” project will continue to evolve. The initiative includes the development of a programme of thematic webinars, shaped also through listening to employees, thanks to a survey designed to gather suggestions and identify the most relevant topics to address in the months ahead. A continuous commitment that confirms safety as a core value for Cereal Docks, safeguarding the health, well-being, and quality of work of all the people involved.
