Cereal Docks East Europe, a company within the Group that provides services for the procurement, drying, storage, logistics, and sale of cereals and oilseeds at the Ortisoara plant in Romania, will participate in the upcoming edition of the Agri Trade Summit.
This event is the most important agricultural trade event in Romania, a country that plays a significant role in the European supply of agricultural raw materials, and it will be held in Bucharest on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
The second edition of the event organized by AgriColumn and Godmothe follows the great success of the first edition and aims to confirm Romania's strategic role in the global agri-food sector and to bring together the main players in the dynamic cereal market: farmers, traders, processors, and distributors.
The Agri Trade Summit offers the opportunity to cultivate many one-to-one commercial interactions with industry players, as well as a comprehensive conference program dedicated to key topics in the agro-commodity market, along with an extensive exhibition area. Esteemed analysts, authorities, and leading operators in the local and global agricultural market will discuss open issues, particularly regarding the current complex international political context.
Among the most anticipated interventions are those of important representatives from the political and institutional world: Mircea Geoană, Deputy Secretary General of NATO; Janusz Wojciechowski, European Commissioner for Agriculture; and Norbert Lins, Head of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Parliament.
